Taking a Bite Out of British Sandwich Week 2024

We have a very healthy appetite for all things food here at Hop&Co, so we were delighted to once again be the dedicated marketing agency for British Sandwich Week, which this year took place between Monday, May 20th, and Sunday, May 26th.

British Sandwich Week is an annual seven-day celebration of one of the UK’s most popular and delicious staples in all its glory, organised by The British Sandwich & Food to Go Association. Every year, the association holds British Sandwich Week to honour the nation’s devotion to clubs, subs, wraps, rolls, baguettes, baps, bagels, toasties, pittas, paninis, and all their accompanying fillings, and this year was no different.

It was also the fourth consecutive year that Team Hop has been lucky enough to be involved – who wouldn’t love talking about sandwiches for an entire week?

We created sharable, newsworthy content on a tasty array of sarnie-related subjects ranging from The Grammys of the Sandwich World to Britain’s Best Butties, 2024 Sandwich Trends to The Great Sandwich Shape Debate, and To Dunk or Not to Dunk to Chicken Reigns Supreme, generating quality national, regional, trade, and broadcast media coverage.

And audience figures were once again up in the millions!

Our key message? A call to action to encourage consumers to go out and grab a sandwich!
